Job Description:
Position: Technical Project Manager - Automotive (Farmington
Hills, MI) Duties: Customize and integrate speech recognition and speech
synthesis systems into vehicle platforms and applications for major global
clients in the automotive industry. Ensure the overall quality of
end-to-end voice and content delivery platforms in accordance with client
requirements. Interface with automotive clients to determine the technical
specifications necessary to create unique automotive speech recognition user
experiences. Lead speech recognition software development efforts for
automotive professional services projects. Responsible for project
planning, organization, execution, quality assurance, and delivery of
customized vehicle speech dialog systems. Oversee vehicle speech dialog
system development efforts, and ensure high-quality automotive
product deliveries. Interact with clients to present project
collaboration models, introduce technology and solutions, and build productive
client relationships through regular reporting, meetings, and
follow-up. Collaborate with the R&D team and Professional Services
Specialists in local and international offices to manage the overall project
workload and ensure the successful delivery of project milestones. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a
related field and three (3) years of experience performing project management
for embedded speech systems; OR, in the alternative, Bachelor’s
degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of
experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): leveraging embedded
audio and speech technologies to manage technical projects; DE designing
and implementing speech recognition and speech synthesis system
software following Agile methodology; DE developing and specifying
requirements for speech dialogue and user interface design; and DE delivering
speech recognition and speech synthesis software into vehicle
