Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Verify patient identity, review medical records, and assess risk factors to ensure safe and effective care.
• Communicate with patients, explaining procedures, risks, and benefits, and providing post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  Requirements
  
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) training, required within the orientation period.
  • Registered in specialty within 12 months of employment.
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    • Experience in radiology or a related field, with a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and patient care principles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
